PST cannot be accessed- An error has occured

Yesterday night, I was busy in some official works and suddenly I have to go for another work. Today I shocked when my outlook pst file cannot opened and an unknown error message has occurred. 0x80040116. it makes me so unhappy when I’m unable to access pst file because all mails and other information saved here. I faced error message “Outlook.pst cannot be accessed – 0x80040116”. Then remembered me before sometime my colleague also faced this type of outlook pst file error message and seniors help him.

 I discussed this scenario with my seniors and they told me pst file was corrupted. They were faced pst file error messages many times and they were familiar with corruption solving method. Now, I understood that issues can be solved and after solving error message then only pst file can be accessed. • Click OK.

Most of time these simple steps successfully repaired error message problem of pst file but this time it was not helpful for me. Error message problem as it is. Inbox repair tool fails to repair corrupted outlook file and now I have to go with next option to get my data back.
